Arriving into Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you'll be warmly met by your private driver-guide and transferred directly to your lodge in Arusha. Tonight is reserved purely for rest — your journey, and your honeymoon, begin properly tomorrow.

After a relaxed breakfast, ease into the trip with a gentle introduction to Arusha — a walk through the local market for its colour and rhythm, followed by a visit to a local workshop celebrating craftsmanship, where you can create something small together to take home. Lunch is in a quiet garden setting before an evening at leisure, with a private candlelit dinner arranged at the lodge to mark the start of your honeymoon.

After breakfast, depart Arusha and travel south to Tarangire National Park, home to some of Africa's largest elephant herds and ancient baobabs. Check in, have lunch, and settle in before heading out for an evening game drive, when the light softens and the park comes alive.

Begin the morning with a guided walking safari — 2 to 3 hours on foot with an armed ranger and expert guide, tracking wildlife signs and learning the quieter rhythms of the bush together. Return to camp to relax over lunch, then head out for an afternoon game drive that ends with a private sundowner set up overlooking the park, champagne, canapés, and the two of you watching the sun go down over the baobabs.

Depart Tarangire for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the continent's great natural wonders. Descend into the crater floor for a game drive among dense wildlife, including the Big Five, within the world's largest intact volcanic caldera. Enjoy a picnic lunch near a hippo pool before ascending to the highlands for an evening at leisure, with sweeping views over the crater rim.

After breakfast, journey into the legendary Serengeti National Park, its plains stretching to the horizon in every direction. Depending on the season, you'll head toward the areas where the Great Migration is active, arriving at your tented camp in time for an afternoon game drive and settling into the rhythm of life on the savannah.

A full day exploring the Serengeti with your expert guide, tracking wildlife across key crossing points and predator territory. Midway through the morning, stop for a private bush breakfast laid out in the open plains, just the two of you, the vehicle parked at a respectful distance. Return to camp at sunset for a warm shower, fireside storytelling, and a refined dinner beneath the stars.

After a final, unhurried morning game drive, transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar via Kilimanjaro or Arusha. Arriving on the island, you're met and transferred into the heart of Stone Town, where the pace changes entirely, the wide plains give way to narrow alleys, carved doorways, and the sound of the ocean against old stone. There's nothing planned for this evening; settle in, take a slow walk if you feel like it, and let the island introduce itself gently.

A full, easy day to get to know Stone Town properly. In the morning, a guided spice tour takes you through a working plantation just outside town, walking among clove, cardamom, vanilla, and cinnamon, tasting as you go, with lunch prepared from what's grown there. Back in town in the afternoon, wander the winding lanes of this UNESCO World Heritage Site at your own pace — the old fort, the carved doors, the spice markets, with your guide on hand for as much or as little history as you'd like. In the evening, dinner is arranged at a quiet rooftop spot overlooking the rooftops and the sea.

A relaxed morning in Stone Town before transferring across the island to the coast, north or east, whichever suits the season and the two of you best, for the beach stretch of your honeymoon. The drive itself is part of the shift in pace, moving from stone streets to palm groves and turquoise water. Arrive in time to settle into your beachfront retreat, take a first swim, and watch the sun go down from the water's edge, with nothing else asked of you today.

A day with nothing on it by design. Sleep in, swim, and spend the afternoon at the spa with a couples' treatment overlooking the ocean. Dinner is served on the beach as the tide comes in.

A second full day left open for whatever the two of you feel like, a snorkelling trip to a nearby sandbank, a swim with dolphins in the early morning, or simply more time on the beach. In the evening, a private dinner is set up on the sand, lit by lanterns, to close out the honeymoon properly, without an early flight hanging over it.

A final, unrushed morning, breakfast by the water, time to pack slowly, perhaps one last walk on the beach. When you're ready, you'll be transferred to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ) in good time for your onward or international flight, departing with lasting memories of Tanzania, and of each other.
